DISH: An iPad Launch ... & Foiling the Bad Guys
DISH Network is heralding a new app that brings live and recorded DISH programming to the iPad. It's a free add-on to the services already available via compatible smartphones, tablets and laptops and requires a broadband-connected Sling enabled device. Put it all together, says DISH marketing honcho Ira Bahr, and DISH "is the only pay-TV provider to offer a true TV everywhere solution."
In other DISH news is a North Las Vegas caper worthy (well, almost worthy) of "CSI." Seems that when two DISH dudes showed up at a house in North Las Vegas, they spied two suspicious men exiting in a car filled with household goodies. The DISH dudes called the police who found two men tied up inside the "ransacked" home, said LV's 13 Action News. Police nabbed the suspects' car (and the goodies therein) but the bad guys fled on foot. So here's to the DISH dudes who saved the victims' belongings and sent the bad guys fleeing.
